This song is actually a deep representation of mankind's need for human contact. This song focuses on raffi himself, labeled as a social outcast who uses inatimate objects in order to assemble manufactured friendships. He exclaims "I'll call my cat!" meaning he cannot even think of a person he knows to call. It's sad, really. The poor man. Him and his fruit, all alone in the world :(

Banana phone...I wonder if raffi knows he spawned quite alot of flash cartoons and shit from this song. I think raffi just likes fruit alot. And you don't need expensive junk to have fun. Anywayz the song is for kids so it doesn't really have to make sense.

In acting class at university we play this song really loud and dance around to it with the lights out. That just shows how cool Raffi is if university people party to him and not just little kids.
