Ode to the Northern Winds Lyrics

Yelling out to the black winds of the north
i am one with you
Ascending and winding
i seek out an ode
i have won this war

Now i call upon thy great ancestors
To be the righteous one for battle
If I fall then i face great Odin
and be cursed in Valhalla

Let the righteous one be thy saviour
tis not Jesus, or thy lord
For it is I who won this battle
in repent for the great Thor

Calling out to the black darkness of the north
what have i become?
descending and binding
Il fight on alone
and never be challenged

Now i call upon thy great ancestors
To be the righteous one for battle
If I fall then i face great Odin
and be cursed in Valhalla

Let the righteous one be thy saviour
tis not Jesus, or thy lord
For it is I who won this battle
in repent for the great Thor

Yelling out to the black winds of the north
i am one with you
Ascending and winding
i seek out an ode
i have won this war

Now i call upon thy great ancestors
To be the righteous one for battle
If I fall then i face great Odin
and be cursed in Valhalla

Let the righteous one be thy saviour
tis not Jesus, or thy lord
For it is I who won this battle
in repent for the great Thor

Cover art for Ode to the Northern Winds lyrics by Unholy Trinity

My utmost favorite Unholy Trinity song before The Black Forest.

I loved to play this song and I still do. Hehe.

Remnant of Immortal's Sons Of Northern Darkness, I tried to dance around the same theme in an ode to the Northern Powers. Once again, I was using Norse Mythology to symbolize my feelings and message.

All I was really trying to do was show how Norse Mythology inspires me to create music. So, this is an ode to how the myths and there ways allow me to create music that reflects my revolutionary emotions. Although, this song (like the other early Trinity songs) are very elementary in their nature and thus, it's kind of hard to find the real point.

The point -

Norse Mythology is inspirational and you should follow it to be whole. "Let the righteous one be thy saviour tis not Jesus, or thy lord"

See? :P
