Fall of Thor Lyrics

The waters rise as martyrs fall
A scorn sent out by Thor
The martrys call upon accomplices
and Thor falls to these grounds

Everything is over now
Odin falls to save his son
nothing left to be seen
Valhallas strength lies within me

Fall of Thor
he cried his last
battle cry

We seek the martyr
with chains of fire and ice
and we shall never fail
For the trinity, lives on

Everything is over now
Odin falls to save his son
nothing left to be seen
Valhallas strength lies within me

Fall of Thor
he cried his last
battle cry

Everything is over now
Odin falls to save his son
nothing left to be seen
Valhallas strength lies within me

Fall of Thor
he cried his last
battle cry

Not quite sure about the true meaning behind this song.

I know Alex aka Sodom, the drummer, pretty well and I know he and Vic (guitarist) are pretty into Norse mythology and the like. UT is definately a metal band that could go places. If you haven't heard these guys, look for some of their stuff online, it's bad ass for a young band them like them.

This is Vic here.

Surely, this song is really old now and the band isn't even together, but the song is pretty much self explanatory. Heh.

Basically, I'm (trying to) talk(ing) about Fall falling down in a battle. Although, it's not 100% true to Norse mythology, the song basically explores how a true warrior could fall and when he does, someone will be there to help him. In this case, it was Odin who comes down to save Thor and we (the band) fight in his place.

Right there, we come and beat the crap out of everything lol.

Hope that clears some stuff up! :P
