Actually... this song was written in the summer of 2001 (It says so in the Five Knuckle split) and George bush was elected late January 2001. So I think it started off as a general anti-president song. But now all this shit has been going on for a few years, I think they decided it was time for a re-release on their new album!
I really like the re-released version. It's cool how instead of just having the horns play Hail to the Cheif and America the Beautiful, they play modified versions of each, that are basically take-offs on the originals but completely different.
