January Lyrics

Yea I'm really excited about seeing you again
The other night was really great you know?
It was kind of scary I mean
Ive never really done anything like that before
but i trust you

You say although your love for me is strong
And that a lover under 17 is wrong
another night goes by
i lie awake and look in your arms
yea ya
oooo
you want me out of your mind
because my helplessness turns you on

if you leave me now baby dont come back
if your leaving baby dont come back (2x)

Januarys just around the courner
I know that you'll be back by then
Im counting down the days on my calendar
Till loving me wont be a sin
ooooooh ya
da na na na na

I thought that after all we've seen and done
That your battle with morality was gone
You've already crossed the line
Might as well just play the die
I havent got the time
To be let in then be shut out
oooh no no

If you leave me now baby dont come back
if your leaving baby don't come back (2x)

(chorus)
I dont want you to leave
but i need you to know
that i can only take so much
of your come and go
just check around there will be no more reason
because your baby will be legal
when the season turns cause

(chorus 2x)

Uh oh
oooooh oh
oooooooooooo oo o ooo
ahhh ah ah
ooooh
ahhh ah ah

Pretty obvious I think ;) I love this song! Her boyfriend won't sleep with her, because she's sixteen and underage. And because I think Bonnie McKee had a boyfriend when she was something like fourteen fifteen, who was thirty or something- he's already crossed the line by being in a relationship with her in the first place and she doesn't get why he won't just go all the way.
