To you, I'm all I've left undone
I'm all I haven't won
Lift me up my soul's so hollow
Lift me up
You take, the breathe you didn't make
Whats left you did forsake
Lift me up my soul's so hollow (2x)
Chorus:
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breath eternally
Yeah
You see, the things I cannot change
The things that make me plain
Lift me up my soul's so hollow
Lift me up
We've made all from the sum of none
All that we have become
Lift me up my soul's so hollow (2x)
Chorus:
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breathe eternally
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breathe eternally
Yeah
Bridge:
Fill......Fill what's in me
Fill......Fill what's in you
Fill......Fill what's in me
So my soul's not left so hollow
You can make me scream
You can make me breathe
(Chorus)
You can make me scream
You can make me breathe
(repeat till end)
I'm all I haven't won
Lift me up my soul's so hollow
Lift me up
You take, the breathe you didn't make
Whats left you did forsake
Lift me up my soul's so hollow (2x)
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breath eternally
Yeah
The things that make me plain
Lift me up my soul's so hollow
Lift me up
We've made all from the sum of none
All that we have become
Lift me up my soul's so hollow (2x)
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breathe eternally
You can make me scream internally
You can make me breathe eternally
Yeah
Fill......Fill what's in me
Fill......Fill what's in you
Fill......Fill what's in me
So my soul's not left so hollow
You can make me breathe
(Chorus)
You can make me scream
You can make me breathe
(repeat till end)

I seen this on a kickass youtube music video (Full Metal Alchemist). I freaking love it. I just wish SOMEONE could clearly say what it means.
This line I really love:
You take, the breathe you didn't make Whats left you did forsake
To me, it's taking everything from someone, right down to the breath they take (it gets to that point), and kind of discarded everything else that the person had (cruelly, probably, like they took what they wanted and scoff at everything else about that person).
Then:
You can make me scream internally You can make me breathe eternally
They make you hurt, right down to the core, but you need them to survive. I kind of see it that this person is saying it bitterly, as opposed to, "They cause me a lot of pain, but I love them." More like, "You make my life Hell and make me hollow, but I need you to live" in an angry way. >_> Probably just my own personal feelings on it.
To me this song seems to be a lament about a person who only sees your failures rather than your accomplishments.
"To you, I'm all I've left undone I'm all I haven't won"
Even then the singer seems to rely on the person to a certain extent despite how frustrated they make him.
"You can make me scream internally You can make me breathe eternally"
About sums of all I can think of to say for now.
I really like this song.
I agree with FaithlessSinner on what it means; it's about someone who sees only your failures, not your accomplishments...letting your flaws outweigh your good traits, etc. Seems like it could be about a parent-child relationship, like when the parent can never be proud of a child no matter what they accomplish...
I'm not about to analyze this song word for word (great song by the way), however I will attempt to state what the song's core message is based on what I've read on the band's website. The lines "you can make me scream internally, you can make be breathe eternally" tells of a girls who makes this man's life a living hell at times (scream), yet she is the one he cannot live without (breathe). Anyone who's ever been in a meaningful relationship can relate. Can't live with them, can't live without them is how the old saying goes.
What a voice!
FAithlessSinner's theory does make a lot of sense.
I think it is some kind of song to God and the singer is angry at his Creator. Just my theory though

Im not quite so sure what this song is about, but me and my friend both know the band members because the bassist's dad (Kelan) is our coach at school, so next time we see Donald I'll ask him what he wrote it about ;-)
that would be awesome.
i think if it's spiritual it's about not knowing why God does certain things but he needs him anyway
if it's about a girl i'd go w/ Faithless Sinner's theory.
