Neon Lights Lyrics
Neon lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
Neon lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
[Random syllables sung off melody]
(Shut that fool up)
(Shut up)
Neon lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
Neon lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
(Shut up)
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights
Shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night
This city's made of lights

Kraftwerk >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> U2
U2 are no where near as talented or influential as Kraftwerk.
The Man Machine album was actually released in 1978 goback.
I think its a bit harsh to call someone an idiot, who started by saying "I could be wrong". In any case, yes Kraftwerk>U2
Yes, I agree with you. It's a bit of a harsh to say that.

i could be wrong but i thought this was a u2 song.
no, it's a kraftwerk cover
This is a great song from the fathers of electronica. I love the dreamy sequencer synth solo. The lyrics are pretty much self explanitory. When listening to this song, I picture driving slowly through a big city like maybe New York or Tokyo long after the sun has gone down.
hey lyra...you're an idiot. this song came out on the man machine which was released in 1995. the "cover" you're talking about is city of blinding lights by u2 which came out on how to dismantle an atomic bomb...that came out in what...2004? kraftwerk is amazing, therefore u2 is not.
excuse me, archmastermind is a moron.
All who like Kraftwerk ought to check out www.progarchives.com.
They'll be happy to know that Kraftwerk is one of the highest rated progressive electronic outfits.
Saw them playing here in 2004... incredible show, three giant screens, 4 "DJ's", no movement... and an exhilarated audience. ;) It's a show worth seeing.
And speaking of covers, has anyone heard the interesting covers Señor Coconut did of this an other Kraftwerk songs? A really interesting take on the style.
