i think kieran hebdan was going for a sort of campfire singalong idea with this one, the beat isn't that bad but the vocal gets annoying. 'pause' would be flawless if it weren't for this track.
heh, i always like this track. I'm not quite five year old, but I hate mosquitos! Besides that it was the first track I heard from the album, and the voice baffled me total at first. now i mainly hear to the strange noises in the background, they're sweet =)
i totally disagree with most of you - this is one of my favourite four tet songs.
to me, because it sounds like the child has an accent, i always think of africa, and the malaria carrying mosquitoes that are wreaking havoc on the population.
having a child sing it is brilliant - he's singing about hope. a world without mosquitoes.

My 5 year old cousin enjoys this track, singing along to it and such, so with this in mind, Four Tet has fans of all ages.
