The guns underneath the fake floor point to the rafters
Walking on the wood beams, you place your feet carefully, each one gently
You woke up in a strange house with something hidden in a safe place, but no way to find it
Certain kinds of anxious dreams are incomplete, they lack a key
You only get when you go back to sleep

And the long distance shots fired over your head
Tell you it's time to retrace your steps and go back to bed

If you stay awake in this dream
In this dream you're going to die

So say goodnight
Or say goodbye

I actually dunno whether I'd call it "heartwarming"....it seems like the subject matter is about being restrained from pursuing one's dreams, or that one's dreams are sometimes simply not possible. Maybe I'd call it....'thoughtful', instead of 'heartwarming'. Heh.
