what do ya'll think this is about? I relate it to different things everytime I hear it depending on what kind of mood I'm in.
This song is simply....time slipping through your fingers...if you know what Pink Floyd - Time is about this seems to have a very similar meaning..

all i can get from this song is that maybe it's about someone who turned their back on a friend/lover for something they thought was better, burned bridges etc....they found out it wasn't worth it and they find now that they are alone. i dunno. but i like the lyrics.
I love the ending to this song on Some Devil. It's like one of those symphonies that you just get lost in. Beautiful song.
This song is definitely about Dave's Drinking problem. It's a good description of what probably anyone is feeling who has an addiction. Someone who has guilt about their natural state of mind and how some how you should be different and nicer and better.
