She's broken up with a guy she thought she would be better off without, but now she realises, that no matter how hard she tries, she can't get over him, because she personified the word, and the meaning of love with him, and because of that, she finds it impossible to let go.
This song is about a girl and boyfriend breaking up, and the girl just not being able to get over him. She has been 'spoiled' by his love, because it seems that nobody will ever be able to live up to him.
The line 'i tried to tell myself that I'd be over you in a week or two, but baby that was about a year ago', just about sums the whole song up. And i agree with emo_girl_sarah, when I first heard this song that line really hit home to me. I am not normally a huge fan of Joss but I think this song is sung beautifully and really suits her voice.
