Dialogue with a Question Mark Lyrics

Dancing around, into the isles, and into the yard.
Yes, we are practicing for war.
Walk off stage.
Beg for your face. Beg for your fingertips.
The request and the response.
The emeralds that we all claim,
cost nothing lest we walk off stage and
then bury it for all to see.
These precious diamonds.

I still think this song is about how he left Norma Jean. You can ask me why later. I have AIM.

I reckon Its about how some christians show off how good they are and faithful by dancing and openly showing everyone how we give all to GGod, when were not. "then bury it for all to see."

also were it says "Yes, we are practicing for war.", i think that basicly means that were ment to be geting ready to face pricipalitys and powers, buy were so distracted with showing off to everyone.

crocky:

my gosh, thats awesome.......i think thats so true....most christians are showing off how awesome they think they are whe nthey dont even know the politics and disccusions that come with being a christian. I had a science teacher who was an atheist who only talked about how chrisitans dont even know the discussions and dont do their research and they dont allow anyone else have an opinion.....fisrt off i think in a way he was right because some christians are like that but i think the year i had with him, i totally changed his opinion on Christians and now, he respects us...which i think is cool cuz you are going to have to deal with the real world sooner or later and we need to be getting ourselves prepaired for that....always.

I dont think we should show off as christians. But i do believe that Jesus should show off through us. I believe when we do things we should do them as he would such as doing good works in our community and helping people with things because people will see christ in the actions and things that we do. I love this song. And i agree with most of what you guys say.

truelysaved stick to what the songs about, this ain't an autobiography. and crocky it's a total contradiction. "bury for all to see." and i think well then brought up a good point without even realizing it. as a christian you should let jesus shine through, but if you are a true follower there is no need to show it off, he'll be seen through you no matter. "bury, for all to see." but i don't think that's what he had in mind when he was writing the song, if you ask me it refers to the members of norma jean.
