No one else is here
And I can't get a sense of nothing
No one else gets high
And I can't sleep cause I got nothing
Feeling I have lost
Control to a higher force and
This music is my, my whore
No one else is here
And I can't get a sense of nothing
No one else comes clean
And I can't sleep, cause I got nothing
Feeling I have lost
Control to a, higher force and
This music is my, my whore
Music is my, music is my, music is my
And I can't get a sense of nothing
No one else gets high
And I can't sleep cause I got nothing
Feeling I have lost
Control to a higher force and
And I can't get a sense of nothing
No one else comes clean
And I can't sleep, cause I got nothing
Feeling I have lost
Control to a, higher force and

i think the song is about identifying yourself and knowing who you are, and in the process, making other people identify you as well. he says "no one else is here", "no one else gets high", it seems as if he can't find someone (a friend possibly) to identify himself with because no one else is like him, and what he wants is someone like him that he can be around and just feel like himself. but, no one gets high, no one comes clean, no one is like him. so, he turns to music to help him identify who he is as a person. and within that music, he finds all that he was looking for.
the line is actually " Music is my, my whore"
if you havent seen Kasabian live yet, i feel for you.
music is my whore
I absolutely love the build up/intro to this song. This is possibly my favourite by Kasabian.
Am I the only one who gets a real strong Beatles circa early 70's vibe here? I really dont want to compare Kasabian to the Beatles because thats sacrilege...but they do have something in their music that flows like nothing you can really name...maybe its the drugs...maybe its me
It might be the drugs. Or it's just the both of us. On drugs. Either way, I'm pretty sure these guys are old school psychedelic. Shit, watch the L.S.F. music video, it'll blow your mind.
Its "music is my whore" Mm i agree there is definitely a 70s vibe and likely the drugs.
myheadhurts how blinding id this tune live?! Its absoloutely immense! When i saw them they opened with this track and the crowd went wild! It was the most insane moment everyone in the crowd sort of went "ARRRRGGGGHHH!" and all of a sudden the whole corwd starting jumping up and down in unison, magic!
