Ember To Inferno Lyrics
In birth just an ember a spark of creation
Towards genesis
With vision of dominion and godliness
With vision godliness
It will take all you have held
In evolutions design it will burn up
All obstacles
Changing opposition to a carnal ash
With vision godliness
It will take all you have held
Sacred
With vision godliness
Stay here till the windows stop burning for your
dreams
Stay here till the windows stop burning for your

This song is about how we all start off the same as humans but we get corrupted with visions of power and overruling. "stay here until the windows stop burning for your dreams" is a warning to stop so that thesee evil thoughts may dissapear before you can continue come on folks comment this is a great song
All of Triviums songs are awesome..! But this one off of Ember to Enferno-Excellent.
six words.. 'Ashes to ashes, dust to dust'. On the album what is the next song? Ashes. Ashes are remains. This song is all about birth and death. We take nothing into life and leave eveything behind as well.
srry 2 b a dick but it dosent say:Stay here till the windows stop burning for yourdreams Stay here till the windows stop burning for your dreams
it's:Stay here till the windows stop burning for your dreams till the windows stop burning for your dreams
"Stay here till the windows stop burning for your dreams"............ wow ^^
This is their greatest song in my opinion... So good... So melodic...
Can't believe there are so little comments on this song it's like 1 of their best. I thought this woz about Trivium's becoming "famous" coz i read Matt Heafy say it in an interview but anywayz sic song n awesome outro solo!!!
This album is their best. Matt Heafy is the best songwriter in the band, and I believe he wrote all of these with arrangements by Travis, musically they have matured, sure, with clean vocals and everything, but it does NOT mean they are trying to be like Metallica, being the huge Metallica buff I am, I know the difference between sounding like a young Hetfield and sounding like yourself. Trivium is probably my favorite band nowadays. The melodies in the writing are one of a kind, this album runs together like a long song. And it's amazing.
its about how everything starts out small before it can grow into something huge, whether it be a sports franchise, a phone company, etc. it has to start as a few people with an idea, just like humans start off as a sperm, we have to grow and develop before we are what we become
I think this song is about something losing its original purpose while ascending to greater power (from ember to inferno).
Starting as an ember with good intention, but with the vision of dominion and godliness, becoming evil and corrupted, and refusing to stop until it reaches what it wants, that being absolute power (dominion and godliness), despite the fact that it's already become "sacred". The chorus then tells the subject to wait before trying to achieve something until all becomes clear.
