I can kind of see how voting for either Kerry or a third-party candidate might vaguely do some modicum of good, I cannot for the life of me figure out why so many people would want to vote for Bush.

Well, actually, I can figure it out easily; they've been heavily propagandized. But I can't figure out how anyone who's taken the time and effort to dispassionately examine the issues and the candidates could possibly want to vote Bush, with the exceptions of religious fundamentalists and cultural/social conservatives. And I pride myself on being a person who tries to see things from perspectives opposed to my own. Maybe I just haven't done that well enough, which is why I don't understand. I don't know.
