This song is about the arrival of Christianity in Russia. Communisim states that everyone is equal. Yet this system of government disobeys the Lord's first commandment. Because they see everyone as equals they cannot respect and worship Jesus Christ and God in the way he commanded. They do not see the Lord as the overlord of all mankind like the rest of us god-fearing people.
