Want You More! Lyrics

You had plans all along
Must have seen me coming down a mile above the ground
'Cause I am weak, where you are strong
It's a thrill that makes me curious

Whatever I'm thinking of
You always seem to know
'Cause nothing is good enough
There's always something to keep me guessing

Why does it feel like you're just faking?
What if you knew you could?
Where do you get off on manipulating?
Why does it feel so good?

Jump in the car, turn up the sound
Get your head in a hail storm and I'm gonna' feel the blast
I pick you up, you throw me down
And it only gets more serious

What could you be thinking of?
You never let it show
'Cause you give me just enough
There's always something, you keep me coming

Why does it feel like you're just faking?
What if you knew you could?
Where do you get off on manipulating?
Why does it feel so good?
Why do I want you more, why do I want you?
Why do I feel so torn?
Why do I want you more, why do I want you?
Why do I want you more?

What could you be thinking of?
You never let it show
'Cause you give me just enough
There's always something, you keep me coming
Just keep me coming

I don't like this song as much as their earlier stuff. But it's fun to listen to.

I think this is an awesome song-it really grew on me. It's hard to stop myself from dancing to it. A dominatrix encounter? Lol..I don't know.

I think to me it's about two people in a relationship. However, one keeps keeping things to himself/herself instead of sharing like in a partnership. But, their partner "keeps giving just enough" to keep his/her lover wanting for more.

To me, he's talking about his lack of control, that he is not the dominant one in the relationship. The woman he's singing about is playing him, and skillfully at that... and he loves it and hates at the same time. "cause nothing is good enough" (a common complaint of Simon's...) - it's not really real but it feels good so why stop? "Where do you get off on manipulating" - double entendre, maybe? How to stop it and what right does she have? Interesting about the issue of who is dominance. He recognizes his surrender and that's as much a part of the "thrill" as the intrigue she provides for him...

Anyway that's my take.
