my favorite off of "Feels like Today"
it's pretty self-explanitory.. girl encourages boy to go after something big, and so he does, but then realizes he was satisified with just being with her.
i love the voices, but i think it's a song that you to be able to relate to in order for you to really like this song.
I don't know why, but i just love how it goes "Every time I see the city through the clouds I get that way" I sort of have a thing for flying. I live in Malaysia and I love it here, but I get to go back to the States for the summers. There's something so special for me when we're just coming and I can see the sunlight streaming through the clouds and the skyline.
I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this song. It's such a great one and it happens all too much as people get older. But you're right forelsket seg, it hits home more when you can relate so maybe that's why I really like this song. Sometimes people just have to go off and "find themselves," even if that means leaving you behind...
I get the feeling he's too scared to call her as well, from the line "By now I figured you had all your numbers changed", as if he doesn't even want to try in case someone has taken his place.
