I'm so glad that someone added all the lyrics to missy's songs. I woulda done it, but i'm too lazy.. This is an amazing song, raw as hell but so uplifting. I think it's strength and belief in somebody else. Genius.
this song is so beautiful for the emotion behind it when she sing it. i think its a sad song abuot someone about to break up with her and she doesn't want to lose them (understandable) but i think that it also may have something to do with that special someone having a substance abuse problem for the references to falling and dying and that their perception of the world has diminished. soo soo beautiful...and great to sing along to in the car at the top of your lungs after an average day at uni.....
I think this song is about someone who has so many problems that theyve sort of lost themselves in to the point where its spiraled into an uncontrollable thing..and they just one to get away from it all. nevertheless, this song is beautiful, especially the piano. her voice is so captivatingly amazing.
For some reason, this song evokes the image of someone at the edge of a cliff, and the sea and the sky are so beautiful, they would rather jump and be part of that perfection than keep on living their life. I don't think that's what Missy meant by it, but it's what it brings to me.
