Wine-Stained Lips Lyrics
You said you'd always be there for me, you said you'd always be in my life.
But now, oh now your chasing dragons instead.
You told me I was chasing the moon,
I should have listened up but I'm a fool,
a fool tangled up in your web.
All for the taste of wine stained lips, 200 miles just to get my fix,
it shouldn't be, it shouldn't be
Your bringing me down and I need to get some sleep.
9 miles to happiness,
I know because I've been there before.
9 miles to happiness,
I've got something to live for.
Please tell me old friend, did you find what your looking for?
I'd like to tell you that without you I'm so happy I could die.
All for the taste of wine stained lips, 200 miles just to get my fix,
it shouldn't be, it shouldn't be
Your bringing me down and I need to get some sleep.
9 miles to happiness,
I know because I've been there before.
9 miles to happiness,
I've got something to live for.
9 miles to happiness,
I know because I've been there before.
9 miles to happiness,
I've got something to live for.
It seems that I can't count all the roads that I've been down.
I seems that I can't count all the towns
that I've drown in and burned to the ground.
Oh what a find when I found this place.
All full of style and second hand love so incredibly cheap.
I stayed for nine months and I stayed for nine weeks.
9 miles to happiness,
I know because I've been there before.
9 miles to happiness,
I've got something to live for.
9 miles to happiness,
I know because I've been there before.
9 miles to happiness,
I've got something to live for.

Catch 22 is so not good anymore. It's sad.
new catch 22 sucks and it's sad......
but with Catch 22 sucking comes the greatest ska band ever; Streetlight manifesto.
this was the frist catch 22 song i heard, then i started downloading more catch 22 songs and more ska bands. this song started my ska obessession! haha.. seems no one else likes it, but I do! oh well..
the trumpets used to play more and they used to sound more like the mad caddies...at least to me. Dammit...Why can't things stay the same forever?
Yeah...Catch still doesn't suck. The end.
I think catch 22 isnt as good anymore is cause of the loss of Tom to streetlight manifesto
I thought they were still good when they released Alone In A Crowd. But then another damn lineup change.
new catch isn't BAD, they're just different and changed their style..anyway, this song is about how you can't always be happy i think
My cousin introduced me a Catch 22 a few years ago on a skemo mix and I've loved them ever since. I'm not too picky about the particular lineup or specific style because they've stayed true to what they want to say with their music.
This song hits a chord for me on several levels. I've been with girls who were not exactly in it as deeply as I was, and it's not fun. Traveling 200 miles (or 20, or 1543...) to find that she's practically forgotten about you tends to put you in an emo stage for a while. This song really captures that in a way that nothing other than skemo ever could.
