Waiting for the Heavens Lyrics

God help me save tomorrow from fear of darkest hour.
this world in pain, it's time to rise again.
this life is so called murder.
staring at angry horror.
don't want to live today when all I feel is pain.
and I pray that I would fall apart.
I know this world's the enemy.
you don't know what it's like and I don't think you even care.
you don't know what it's like and you've never ever even been there.
God help me save tomorrow from fear of darkest hour.
this world in pain, it's time to rise again.
my life is going under.
staring at angry horror.
don't want to live today when all I feel is pain.
and I pray that I would fall apart.
I know this world's the enemy.
you don't know what it's like and I don't think you even care.
you don't know what it's like and you've never ever even been there.
this life is so called murder.
staring at angry horror.
don't want to live today when all I feel is pain.
I know this world's the enemy.

WOW! :| NO COMMENTS =O ... This is my favourite Eighteen Visions song, the new album rokks muchly. I love the lyrics, not really sure on a specific meaning to the song, just i find the lyrics amazing. Maybe something about what the guy is going through and his thoughts on life and how people make him feel...i have no idea hehe

I think this song is about something he's been through that was painful, seeing how one of the lyrics are "don't want to live today when all I feel is pain." but I'm not sure. This is one hell of a song, I love it.

call me dumb, but i think this song is about the writer calling out for God because hes in so much pain, and telling God he doesnt understand because hes never been there, never lived life like we do...i dunno..maybe i overanalyze

hm, nice one SkysFallen! Overanalyzing is a good thing, in my opinion. Yeah, it's quite possible, he also starts with 'God' obviously. It could also be about some other authority figure, like the government officials looking down on you, or just someone who hasn't known rough times and can't understand the way you feel. This wouldn't necessarily (sp?) have to be God.

Yeah this song is awesome. I kinda like the new stuff. Although I've only heard Tonightless...but still, I likes it.
