I think this song is about existential angst. The narrator is trying to avoid the bitter truth of dying.
i can't believe they're aren't any comments! I love this song.. i think its about how you don't want to believe something the way it is so you just forget about it and pretend things are okay.. i dont know.. but i LOVE these lines : "Is it wicked when you smile Even though you feel like crying Even though you could be sick at any time?"
These are sure the best lines and i think they summarize the whole meaning of the song. Also, Isobel's sweetest voice makes it such a delightful thing to listen to! I can't believe there was only one comment about it!
