Going Down to Dunwich Lyrics
(Hey Hey!)
Noise from the barn today
(Hey Hey!)
What's in the attic?
(Hey Hey!)
What did the arab say?
(Hey Hey!)
Senses erratic
(More More!)
Don't open that door
(More More!)
It's an encasement
(More More!)
Slime on the kitchen floor
(More More!)
Up from the basement
I'm goin' down to Dunwich
Please don't bother waiting up
(x4)
(No No!)
Into the box you go
(No No!)
Invisible mass
(No No!)
Feed it and watch it grow
(No No!)
Fissuring gas
(Hey Hey!)
Killed any cows today?
(IA! IA!)
Yog Sothoth
(Hey Hey!)
Leaving a trail of grey
(Hey Hey!)
Festering broth
(I'm going down to Dunwich, where the town is sleepy and the people are creepy. I'm going down to Dunwich... I'm going down and I'm not coming back!)
I'm goin' down to Dunwich
Please don't bother waiting up

Noise from the barn today

This is an ode to the H.P. Lovecraft story "The Dunwich Horror". A wicked family gives birth to an evil child. The mother, grandfather and the rapidly aging, disgusting son, call forth an invisible monster that reaches havoc on the countryside of Dunwich.
Have to disagree with the above post. In the story, Wilbur Whateley's mother is long since raving mad, and does not participate in the ritual opening the gate to Yog Sothoth. The invisible monster which wreaks havoc is Wilbur's twin brother, which is invisible and monstrous because it takes more after the father, Yog Sothoth himself. An excellent film starring Dean Stockwell, as well.
