I've heard both versions of this song, considering the fact I have the Zeppelin album with "Dancing Days" ("Houses of the Holy"). Both versions sound very similar, except for the fact that STP has a lot more percussion and is a little heavier on the guitar in their cover of it.
I never said STP wrote this. I just knew they did a cover of it so I thought I would include it.
I havent heard the original. ut i'm sure Stp has done an amazing cover of it.
im a HUGE led zeppelin fan and i gotta give it to STP.... they made the best zeppelin cover song out of anyone whos ever covered zeppelin
STPs cover of this song hit No. 5 on the modern rock charts in 95
Ok maybe STP did a cover of this song, but how can you mistake a Led zeppelin song by a STP song?
I've only heard Led version.
