Dukes of Hazzrd Theme Lyrics

Just two good ol' boys
Never meanin' no harm
Beat all you never saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born

Straight'nin' the curve,
Flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will.

Makin' their way,
The only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.

Just two good ol' boys,
Wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood..

Your lyrics are missing the whole first verse of the song!

"Just two good ol' boys Never meanin' no harm Beat all you never saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born."

Then the rest of it is OK, except for the last verse...

"Just TWO good ol' boys..."

And helluva show too, this TV series ranks up there as one of the best ever. YEEEEEEHAAAHHHH!!!

its a shame not only is this not the proper title to the song, but also this is the only song under Waylon's name. He did alot for not only being Buddy Holly's bassist but also being a artist who changed the music industry completely in Nashville, starting the "Outlaw" movement which was fueled by a piss off attitude. sound fimilar to another musical movement?

Dear GOD this isn't even the entire song. You missed an entire verse:

"I'm a good old boy I know my mama loves me But she don't understand They keep-a showin' my hands And not my face on TV."

The last verse, for those who never watched the TV show, refers to how you always see the narrator (Waylon's) hands playing the guitar, but you never actually see who it is.

Waylon, aka Waymore (as in "Waymore's Blues"), aka Watashe (his nickname given to him by Hank Williams, Jr.) deserves way better than this. He had about a thousand songs in his repetoire better than this one, yet this is the one that the moronic new generations will listen to over and over and feel is his only claim to fame?

Woktashan is actually his nickname

I have a version where the last verse goes like this:

I'm a good ole boy You know my mama loves me But she don't understand They keep on showing my hands But not my face on TV.

The above is not the TV show version.
