I can't believe that no one has commented on this song. "Sirens" is an amazing album and OTMOP are sorely missed. Incredible. Like a fucking David Lynch movie put to audio tape. Always thought he said 'eviction' though, not extinction...

sirens is like a post-hardcore version of wilco's yankee hotel foxtrot. amazing album. like it channels the raw emotions that were ripping the band apart while they recorded it. on one hand i'm sad that it never found a bigger audience, and on the other i'm happy because we don't have to share it :).
"A sick day - a recount - a time bomb - a dead kid." I feel kind of a Trophy Scars vibe when he sings that line.
Overall amazing band, they'll never be forgotten and forever remain loved in our hearts.
