Kalamazoo: Town in Michigan
A city of southwest Michigan south of Grand Rapids. First settled in 1829, it is a manufacturing center. Population: 80,277.
As a resident of Kalamazoo, here is my take: many people here are indeed frozen (30 degrees today in October!), and the downtown area is actuallly quite quaint. however, venture to the north side, and you realize he's not embellishing his marijuana references.

I've heard rumors that he was dating a woman from Kalamazoo at one time, but hard to say for sure.
Oh, and I'm from just outside Kalamazoo. If you think that town is sleepy, try the area around it. It's a hub of culture, relatively speaking...
