Ravenheart Lyrics
Come to me, Ravenheart
Messenger of evil
You shadow of forgotten dreams
You come to take again
My hope on your black wings
Come to me, Ravenheart
Messenger of evil
Come to me. What's the news?
Here I'm still left lonely
Of love & hate the singers tell
But I feel more, more of both,
More than heaven & hell.
I take a bow to destiny.
Now I have really learnt my part
Once loving him, now hating love
I've made mistakes, my Ravenheart
Will I get back who I adore?
Thus spoke the raven: nevermore.
Messenger of evil
You come to take again
My hope on your black wings
Messenger of evil
Come to me. What's the news?
Here I'm still left lonely
But I feel more, more of both,
More than heaven & hell.
I take a bow to destiny.
Now I have really learnt my part
Once loving him, now hating love
I've made mistakes, my Ravenheart
Thus spoke the raven: nevermore.

I don't think they're anything like Evanescence other than they both have electric guitars, drums, and a female singer. There are a lot of huge differences in them.
Oh shut up origin and go back to hearing chart music. This genre is not for you. Lisa is talented and has a sweet voice with a cute accent. Live with it. Their lyrics are nice and their music is good. Germany rocks^_^ the video for ravenheart has a good idea, but the production isn't excellent. Maybe you can't have a big budget when you aren't pop-wannabe-goth as evanescence? Just a thought. The next time origin, if you haven't anything good to say about a band, then comment the lyrics on a band you do like. Maybe... Evanescence? Anything else is just... sad.
I really like the music in the beginning of this song, and I love the Edgar Allen Poe reference at the end!
i don't think someone hurted somebody, i think the writer's lover died. that's because of the last phraze "thus spoke the raven: nevermore" that comes from Poe's poem "The raven" which is about death.
This song is first of all about death, love, hate, dreams, all in the cycle with one end ,Death which is impersonated. The singer emphasizes the fact of accepting Death as a divinity and as a fate and as also as state of relief with its ending in dreams to the one who called Death.
This was the first Xandria song I ever heard. Xandria is a "goth metal" band from Germany. Sort of like Evanescence, but with slightly quieter singing.
I like these lyrics a lot, and the video for this song is really cool. But unfortunately the music for this song is really boring and generic. It's nothing special.
I'm not sure what these lyrics mean. The most I can figure is that the song is about a guy, and the guy is referred to as "Ravenheart" I can't tell who hurts who, is she hurts him or he hurts her. Whatever lol
you're right, seasons of grey. There are a lot of huge differences in them.First,EV have a REAL singer(Lisa maybe can sing, but she's not talented),and EV has a better lyrics and quality. PS Video for ravenheart is dumb
