Fear The Sound Lyrics
i've got my hands around your neck
and i'm squeezing them tightly
i feel you slipping away
and your paleness it haunts me
you're weighing me down
when you're here
and not around
and i fear the sound
and the silence that we've found
never really ever seems to be
never really ever felt the need
never really ever seems to be
convenient for me
it was the greatest mistake
and i complain but i failed you
like a noose around my neck
you're holding me back
i can't breathe
i feel your pain and taste the blood
as furious as i can be
i'll call your bluff, i've had enough
you have my heart, you own my soul
i am infected by you
so hard to let you go
i fucking hate you
and i'm squeezing them tightly
i feel you slipping away
and your paleness it haunts me
when you're here
and not around
and i fear the sound
and the silence that we've found
never really ever seems to be
never really ever felt the need
never really ever seems to be
convenient for me
and i complain but i failed you
like a noose around my neck
you're holding me back
i can't breathe
as furious as i can be
i'll call your bluff, i've had enough
you have my heart, you own my soul
i am infected by you
so hard to let you go
i fucking hate you

this song is about andy's strained marriage. its pretty powerful but i think when he screams "i fucking hate you" at the end of it he sounds completely ridiculous and unbelievable.
this song is absolutely amazing. and deff = theme song at times...
i could have sworn that when HRC played this song live he said, "you ARE my heart" but that wouldn't make sense. 'cause i remember singing along and he said "are" instead of "have" and i was lyke... what?
ok. <3
great song, awesome to listen to when having relationship problems, which happens to me alot. but hey whatever, great band, great song, ya ya ya. oh and gribblet it is you have my heart on the cd version, but anything can happen live. most bands add or change words to make it more meaningful and sound a hell of a lot better.
