Frogs Lyrics
There you are
Infected with the water strain
Wash your car
Fish and thoughts come screaming down like rain
There you are
Wash your hands and wash your face
Water's gone
It's vaporized and gone to outer space
I'm looking at the sky
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me
I'm looking at the sky
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me
I'm looking at the sky
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me
Infected with the water strain
Wash your car
Fish and thoughts come screaming down like rain
There you are
Wash your hands and wash your face
Water's gone
It's vaporized and gone to outer space
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me
I'm waiting on the rain
I'm waiting for the frogs to fall
Down on me

I cant believe no one's commented on this awesome song! The line "Fish and thoughts come screaming down like rain" really says it all. It's about being out of it.
The first part of the song is very evil-sounding, but the chorus is just awesome.
I think the weird opening guitar noises were supposed to sound like a frog croaking, at least it sounds like that to me. Plus the video kind of corraborates this.
Frogs raining from the sky was one of the biblical plagues. Make of that what you will.
Actually, the guitar noises symbolize the hopping more... wouldn't you think? This song is from the Lip's acid days. It has little meaning with an exception to random analogies. The beauty of the Lip's music back in those days was that it was to be taken very literal. It provided great imagery along with their great music. This song is one of my favorites off of the "Hit to Death in the Future Head" album.
Well, you know... little fish and frogs do sometimes fall with the rain during things like hurricanes and heavy rainfall.
The "waiting for the frogs to fall" line reminds me of the film "Magnolia".
