wow, most of the hives song don't have too many comments posted up. this song is great, short and sweet like most of the songs by the hives, especially the ones on their album, tyrannosaurus hives.
Whoa man this song is tight. Killer. I don't think that this song has any signifigant meaning, but it's still the best Hives. Consise, man!
Great song. Perhaps it's about smoking? Well, probably not, but the lines 'bitter taste in your mouth' and 'kick this habit' just make it seem like it is.

To me it sounds like someone is relishing control over another person... So I guess it could written from the point of view that nicotine is singing. Or a dominating girlfriend.
Sounds to me like someone unable to leave an unhealthy or otherwise unsatisfactory relationship.
In a lot of The Hives songs, they talk about being better than someone else, knowing it, and relishing every satisfying moment of it.
