This is an incredible song- one of my favorites. I think it's about having a reationship with someone wihtout understanding it, and knowing it will change your life.

even if everything isn't forever... &things fade away.. there are those certain things in life that are just impossible to forget. a person touching you, in such a deep way, is one of them.
i can see what you guys think, and it sounds good but i just gotta say.. to me, this song means something like(chorus at least): a guy is in love with this girl, and she breaks up with him out of the blue, and he's just saying to her that he may never know why she left him and stuff (this is gunna be a long one)theres a quote "when you and i met, the angles said 'Perfect' " the part about the angles crying is that when she left even the angles didnt think that was gunna happen to their perfect couple. . .i duno, maybe im just insane from my relationship right now. . . i just like how he is being open to take her back, even if its not in a relationship, cuz in the end, she really did affect him more than he initially thought does anyone understand me out there??? thats it for ya :-P

thins song has really touched my life in more than one way! this song makes me think of a guy who really helped me see the wrong i my life! "every night when i close my eyes, i c the ways you touched my life" that is the line that just makes me cry every time
i think this song is about his friend or could be a girlfriend who is taking another path in life, maybe she is moving or running away even to try to avoid some problems or a friend that has gone astray and has changed personalities and has been getting in trouble, but they were good friends and she had an impact on his life, and he will never forget that. and maybe what she said to him late last night was im leaving, not necissarily breaking up but i can see how that would make sense too. and maybe when he says "this time im walking out the door" maybe shes done this more than once and hes tired of it and decides im the one walking away this time.
i think it says a story about a friend you really trust, someone that is close to you!
