36 Days Lyrics
Gone away far from home, the weekend’s over
Let’s pack up and start again
Twenty days on the road, just left Port Dover
With sixteen to go
I just called my mom to tell her I miss her
I just wrote my girl (Elizabeth)
Man I can’t remember the last time I kissed her
Soon I’ll be at home with all my friends
After thirty-six days
Lights go down the noise has faded
We’ll leave this town anticipated
Soon we’ll be back on the road again
All is lost, but not forgotten
One by one the fights we’ve fought
And soon we’ll be back on the road again
For thirty-six days
We turn around, face the crowd
We’re starting over
This time north of L.A.
Once again her we are
It’s a new beginning
I’d live this life any day
I feel so alive, though a part of me is gone
And this life I lead, is the life I’ve dreamed of
Since I was the age of twelve
Now I’ll sing with all this is within me
After thirty-six days on the road
Lights do down the noise has faded
We leave this town anticipated
Soon we’ll be back on the road again
All is lost, but not forgotten
One by one the fights we’ve fought
And soon we’ll be back on the road again

the music is pretty cool...he's telling us how he feels away from home and yet how good he feels about doing what he wants...for God..
obviously about performing. how he loves it but the struggles he goes through as well. and what's up with the

elizabeth??
Elizabeth is his girl. Durr. Or was. I don't even know. I feel so behind.
He's explaining about how he feels about leaving for tour. He loves his role so much but he would hate to leave it because he's been dreaming of where he's at since he was 12 years old. He's finally reached his goal and has accomplished what he wants to accomplish, but he still feels like he's missing out on everything else. At least that's what I think.
naww, his girl is lenay. they just got married =]

Elizabeth is Jason Dunn's wife. Not to be confused with Anne-Marie Hunsaker who sings on the song "From Underneath"
jason had never been married before. he just got married in august to Lenay Olsen. I think the author of the lyrics put their name in just to make it sound like she is jasons girll.

WTHECK?! Jason isen't married, and he never was....and liz broke up with Jason...he's now dating Lenay... and yes this song is about life on the road, the life of being in a band..
jason is def not married. Elizabeth was his gf, now ex. because this was from letters to the president, their first album besides the ep and stuff from the swish days. his girlfriend is named Lenay or something like that.
