Stay Tuned Lyrics
What would I do without it?
Think I'll..
I've got to move or sinking
And I only came to..
Stay pretty
I'll come back sometime and soon
And while I'm away: stay tuned
I'll get a suit and a rocket
And take to the end of the space
You make me wanna say pretty things
To leave me far away
Look up and I put your flag on the moon
And while we're away: stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Think I'll..
I've got to move or sinking
And I only came to..
I'll come back sometime and soon
And while I'm away: stay tuned
And take to the end of the space
You make me wanna say pretty things
To leave me far away
And while we're away: stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned
Stay tuned, stay tuned

It seems to me like the singer has to leave his love for a time. However, he does not want the relationship to end and pledges to return soon. Televeision (or radio) is used as a metaphor for the relationship. Inm asking her to "stay tuned" and not change the channel/turn it off, he is asking her not to give up on the relationship.
I agree with you,andres430; the writer either has to leave his lover or he's asking for time out. He promises to come back for her/him and make a firm commitment: "I'll plant your flag on the moon"...

Also, in the first verse, second line, I'm hearing "Think I'll be down that [...] could it be "noon?" It doesn't rhyme with "win," but "space" doesn't exactly rhyme with "away." It does rhyme with "tuned" and "moon."

In the third line, I hear "I've got to move or sink it" And in the second verse, second line, I hear what jxnarcoicz wrote: "You make me wanna say pretty things to people far away." What a great line!
possible corrections:
What would I do without it? Think I been down like that (?) I've got to move (or) I'm sinking And I only came to win
We'll take to the end of space You make me wanna say pretty things to people far away
