Pretty decent song, but I don't like it as much as their other stuff.
i'm surprised nobody has said much on this song. buddy nielsen was raised w.o a dad. so he was a bastard. this song is about his experiances growing up without a father and how its hurt him. obvisouly the dad had more kids, and took no repsonibilty for any of them.
I am also a bastard, and it is an acturate representation of life without a father figure, and the bitterness felt towards the father.

I've got both cd's and this song is not on either of them. It's only on the DVD that comes with Let It Enfold You. I don't understand why they didn't just put it on the CD. Good song either way.
one of my favorite Senses Fail songs. i really like the guitar part that starts right before "you failed all of your kids" and ends after "mock your face in hell". thats my favorite part of the song.
Great song by Senses Fail. If you know anything about Buddy Neilson you would come to find out that he was raised without a father. Thats why I think this song was written about his personal feelings towards his father. You can tell he still has alot of hate for his father and he conveys that. But Buddy is great because he saying that yeah, i am a bastard but at least i didn't leave my family behind or betray them.
This song actually reminds me of both my parents. My dad left before I was born and was never around much. My mom didn't want a son, especially one that reminded her of her ex husband, so she never treated me to well. When I was in 2nd she left me with my grandparents and I haven't seen her in almost 8 years. I was fine for awhile but lately I've resented her more and more.
