Revolution Lyrics
look at the blueprints as they disappear
'cause of the blank space filled with all our fears
to make a move could be devastation
to take a chance is a way to face them
make a it a choice to take a different road
you want a revolution
you gotta make a differnce on your own
wanna revolution
stand up
stand out and make it known
a new state, renovation
a new day brings you to the nation
these days another way to replay
no replay
I think I'm better this way
time's up and can I say its ok
to late
I should've could've maybe
why wait
but in the end it could be my last big
mistake
you want a revolution
you gotta make a difference on your own
wanna revolution
stand up
stand out and make it known
face first new days choices we've made
face first new days the choices we've made
face first
our ability to chose I make a change
instead a saying that it's just fine
time to open up and time to realize
you can make a differnce if you try
you want a revolution
you gotta make a difference on your own
wanna revolution
stand up
stand out and make it known
'cause of the blank space filled with all our fears
to make a move could be devastation
to take a chance is a way to face them
make a it a choice to take a different road

I have this song on my Rock Against Bush I album. It's such a perfect song for the message of the album. Whatever you believe in, don't just sit around and wait for something to happen. Do something!
Just another song from a psycho liberal band. Like the song, like the bands music, hate their typical California views.
Love the typical California views, if that's what revolution is called these days. ;)
authority zero has better songs than this.
AZ definetly has written better songs, but i still love it and rat...read my name...
even besides the -in my oppinion- great text, the music itself is fucking amazing.
"Just another song from a psycho liberal band. Like the song, like the bands music, hate their typical California views. "
It's a punk band, what do you expect?
not every thing has to be political it could be taken that way but what it means to me is if you believe in something "stand up stand out and make it known!" but hey i guess it could be political w/e i like myne better!HA
i'm with De1821 on this one. if you listen to more of Authority Zero's songs, especially the "A Passage In Time" Album, they're all about self determination. Rather than placeing the blame on someone or something else, take responsibility for yourself and do something. Its called "Locus of Control" for those not familiar with the psychology field. Also, if you check PCH-82, these guys also give a "big-ups" to the USA Bill Of Rights, rather than just bitching about the current political system. This is something that I find to be pretty atypical of the punk world.
