Headspace Lyrics
Me
I'm a man
Who is trudging
Best I can
Through a minefield
Built to blast
Can I make it
Will I last
Free my mind, levitate
Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace
Please
Let me be
No more questions
No more needs
You're the cancer
You're the leech
Sent to bleed me
Of disease
Free my mind, levitate
Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace
Let me go my own way
Burn the rest of them that try to keep me enchained
Living taking chances
Isn't all that it's meant to be
Dying with your face on
A t-shirt isn't all that original
Me
I'm the man
Will I make it
Will I last
I'm a man
Who is trudging
Best I can
Through a minefield
Built to blast
Can I make it
Will I last
Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace
Let me be
No more questions
No more needs
You're the cancer
You're the leech
Sent to bleed me
Of disease
Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace
Let me go my own way
Burn the rest of them that try to keep me enchained
Isn't all that it's meant to be
Dying with your face on
A t-shirt isn't all that original
I'm the man
Will I make it
Will I last

Scott has said that this is about the media and the way he's treated in print/TV. He no longer does radio interviews or meets fans at shows when people win contests.
"Please Let me be No more questions No more needs You're the cancer You're the leech Sent to bleed me Of disease "
He's talking about a specific reporter of a popular music magazine that completely misquoted him and since then, he no longer does interviews.

wow good....translation? is that the word? watevr...that sounds about rite i thinkiknowlyrics
I thought this song was about keeping drugs away and the thoughts of addiction out of your head. The message to me resembles STP's "No Way Out", a song Scott wrote to express his drug problems in 1999.
Definately my favorite VR track. IThinkIKnowLyrics, that sounds good right there. I just love this song no matter what it's about. Rock on.
To me, Weiland is saying that he is just a man, and he can't be perfect all the time, and interviewers for magazines are always getting him wrong. Basicly it's messing with his head:
'Don't let any of those fuckers in my headspace'
but IThinkIKnowLyrics has a very good point... Bravo
makes me go crazy, i love VR
Scott's addiction with heroin is a minefield, making a wrong step and the entire thing will explode. While "motherfuckers" like the law and rehab are trying to keep him in check, Scott is a man capable of trying to do it on his own.
i lov this song. im first and im gonna guess that hes drunk/stoned and someone tries to talk to him or sumthing and he gets mad. i hav no idea
I think it's about doing stupid things when you use drugs. He realizes that drugs make you do stupid things: Living taking chances Isn't all that it's meant to be
