whoa..i like this song. what makes me tick is that all the overseas people get the cool hidden songs and we have to search for them on the internet. anyway, i love the chorus. a good little tongue twister in a song is always a good touch!
But the CDs and music videos come out in America before they come out over here.

I'm wondering which Adelaide the title of the song comes from. I am from Adelaide the capital of South Australia, and NFG have done several shows here. But I also know that there are about three Adelaide's in the USA alone.
I also wonder which one girlznotgrey000 (above) is from.
(NB: I'm biased as I happen to think this song relates to me a lot)
I think the song is about a guy who feels like his girlfriend should show interest in him, rather than him having to be the sole-instigator of conversations about him and his life. He feels like she should ask him about his interests and life. I think he feels really pathetic when he brings up things that mean a lot to him, because he's convinced she doesn't want to hear about it, because of one thing she once said to him that stuck in his head.
