i think all franz ferdinand songs are sexual in some way. his voice is just fantasticly sexy.

it probably has a deeper meaning, but the "fire" could be piracy, and the refrain really sounds like, "we're gonna burn this CD"

this is one of my favorite songs on the CD. Just how deep his voice goes when he sings "oh how i burn for you"....its so... i dont know the word..but i like it.

I think this song is about his burning passion for someone and its so strong it feels like its burning more and more inside of him!

You no wats gud about the videos is the weirdness of it. There very unique i like the end of this video were there like goin cheers with there cups and everything i think this song is about a think like a trend like emmmm remeber pokemon or watevr and its spreading i dont no lol sorry im not that deep emm or it mite be about his anger. fire is a good word for anger "it burns" and hes so angry hes out of control

There's such imagery in the video. They've got that part where the band turns into a Nuremberg rally. The vampiristic stuff. Hypnosis. Mailing letters, all seeming like part of a scheme of theirs. What are they up to?

Taken alone, it could be about a very passionate love for someone... but one that could burn a city? Pretty pwoerful stuff, that. Really, this song could be about so many things. Where "Dark of the Matinee" is fun because it's simple, this is cool because it isn't.
