I Love How You Love Me (Phil Spector cover) Lyrics
so simple. so perfect. so fucking beautiful. best love song that i've heard.
One of my favorite songs of all time. <3
Oh man what a beautiful song, I'm not sure if Jeff Mangum actually recorded this because I have this live version. I wish someone would sing me this song, sigh.
a great cover, and I love how fragile jeff sounds in this. the lyrics strike a chord in me, not so much because of what they say but how they're sung in this version.
it's definitely one of those songs i hold close to my heart, and it's been one of my top played songs lately...it reminds me of my love and how I feel about him... sometimes it's like handling crepe paper, so beautiful and yet so delicate.
so good..
The early version of this by the Paris Sisters (http://www.history-of-rock.com/paris_sisters.htm) is to me heartbreakingly sensual yet sort of innocent too. These guys do a very warm & genuine version I found looking for the earlier one.
Such a beautiful song...
One of the top five covers of all time. Of course, the lyrics are beautiful, but the fragility in Mangum's voice is incredible. Heartbreaking and romantic all at the same time.
In the version I have, everyone gives this sort of delighted sigh, barely audible, at the end. Jeff apologises for being a bit hoarse, then says he doesn't know what to play next. A man says "Engine!" and he replies, "Engine? Okay." and you can hear this completely happy, excited sound from the people listening....this is what all music should be.
i shall sing this song @ my wedding to this one girl if it comes to that.
