Loose Lyrics

Now look out
I took a record of pretty music
I went down and baby you can tell
I took a record of pretty music
Now I'm putting it to you straight from hell
I'll stick it deep inside
I'll stick it deep inside
Cause I'm loose
I feel fine to be dancin', baby
I feel fine, I'm a shakin' leaf
I feel fine to be dancin', baby
Cause it's love, yeah I do believe
I'll stick it deep inside
I'll stick it deep inside
Cause I'm loose
And I'll stick it deep inside
And I'll stick it hey
Well I'm loose, well I'm loose
Well I'm loose

Most of the versions on the complete tapes seem to have extra, much dirtier lyrics... Or is it just the way Iggy inflects it? Probably both. The man can make anything sound suggestive.

Yeah, heroin use. ('loose' refering to a junkie's demeanour...and their bowels..)

@Omnicide Actually, heroin addicts tend to be in a perpetual state of constipation. Ask anybody you may know who works at a hospital. Junkies go in all the time and some end up requiring surgical removal of compacted stool.

“Loose” is about his love of heroin and the ritual of consumption, which is often compared to sex. The preparation of the dope is foreplay, tying-off and hitting the vein is akin to intercourse and the immediate, initial high is the orgasm. However, it’s also literally and unfortunately about his homosexuality. It’s a double entendre.

@Donkeydick69 junkies get constipated when heron is in their system. When heroin leaves the system, keeps become “loose”. (See: Train spotting).

But Why would it be “unfortunate” if Iggy was gay?
