stuck in a crappy place, wanting to get away but you cant. i think maybe the chorus is about how secretly the person doesnt want to leave. "you never get ready cause theres no time today" .. just keeps putting off leaving and stays, but they actually dont want to leave
I think the person does want to go, but they just feel that they don't have the strength or means to do so, something is keeping them from flying away
