its a really sad song that hurts. its about a relationship that lost its love and destroyed him. besides the refrain i like: "you said you're never coming back home, you got me choking. now that's a typical syndrome, when a heart gets broken" its so true, i think everybody who got hurt once knows what it feels like when its hard to breathe and sometimes u dont know if u have to puke or if ur going to suffocate! we lost our love SOMEHOW,i love how he doesnt veen try to find reasons, hes just helpless and hurt! The video is a little weird though.
The meaning of the video is very simple; it´s about a kid and a swimming pool, at the very first moment he is afraid of jumping over the water; but at the end he reaches the goal: he has moved over his problems. In the song the problem is a brokenhearted, so you must move on and head for another love.
This is a beautiful song, and very powerful to anybody who has experienced a break-up. The subject of the song is pretty clear. It's about the break-up of a relationship that has lost its love and Sarcevic's agonising over his ex meeting somebody else, knowing she'll never come back to him.
