Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd cover) Lyrics
i'd appreciate it better if i was a fan of the genre, but i'm not. though, it translates well, in my opinion. it's an interesting cover. definitely interesting. to me it doesn't ruin the song, since it's so different. atleast it wasn't like fred durst's cover of behind blue eyes. i thought his cover was awful. but that's just me.
Guys cummon, whats all this bitching about covers and whatnot? Just because some other band makes a crappy copy doesnt mean the original song is "killed"..just chilll, put on floyd and forget this version if you dont like it.
scissor sisters covered the song. it happens. get over it. pink floyd obviosly liked it or they wouldn't have let them release it.
i like this song its fun it gives it a twaing, however i understand how some people get crushed by covers of songs
i remember the first time i saw the wall i was really seedy from the night before, its funny how i didnt realise that this version of the song was even a cover they sound so different maybe im just too spazmotic to pick up on obviouse stuff like that
this is the greatest cover song of all time
I know, if you love Pink Floyd, this will probably sound like nails on a chalkboard the first couple of times. But take off your cool and let yourself get into it. It's really an incredible cover. The lyrics apply well to both a dark heroin stupor and an ecstasy fueled dance trance.
I love this cover but not as much as the original. The original is pure genius. The majority of Floyd is pure genius. Especially when David solos.
I've just heard this for the first time on some music channel and the first thought that entered my head was "Who the hell released the copyright for this???"
Floyd created a strong, moody masterpiece and this song has torn it to shreds
i wouldnt say torn it to shreds, i think thats a bit overly dramatic. I really dont think this version of the song ruins the original at all because it's so different.
