Cease2xist Lyrics

High,
21st of July,
You know the thought is all wrong,
but the feeling is right.
Say,
on the 19th of May,
turn it on close the door,
and then set to ignore.

Hey, where did you come from?
And why don’t you stay where you belong?
Think, everyone that you kiss,
do they cease to exist when you stop being missed?

You live
in someone else’s song.
Have you been there too long,
or not long enough?
Yes, what did you leave behind?
Another weekend expires,
with no definite signs.

Hey, where did you come from?
And why don’t you stay where you belong?
Think, everyone that you kiss,
do they cease to exist when you stop being missed?

It's about breaking up.

Think, everyone that you kiss, do they cease to exist when you stop being missed?

When you break up, do they not matter anymore?

I agree with the previous comment, about the memories you leave behind past relationships.

" You live in someone else’s song. Have you been there too long, or not long enough?" Artists often write songs about someone who was important in their life and changed them (good or bad). You can write wether about a short relationship ("not long enough") or about a long one which might have hurt you ("too long")

This song is a very interesting question about what memories. When do loved ones go away? When you stop thinking of them in a bad way, or when you stop missing them (= forget them).

think it's about questioning your own identity while thinking about relationships. Your lover says a lot about who you are, so if it's the "wrong" one does that mean you aren't representing yourself as who you really are? "where did you come from?" is the disassociation with your lover/yourself and the song is generally confusion
