It's obviously about someone who wants to take care of the one he loves. But due to the riff from the musical Phantom of the Opera I get a bit of a creepy feeling of someone who wants too much to take care. He says "I'm your guardian angel" but he actually wants her all for himself.
I love this song. The different sections are really cool, and James' vocals are amazing.
