I saw you there
I smiled at you
You didn’t care
It’s ok I’ll get you soon
After this sweet day I’ll be with you
When I fill you up inside
With my loving kindness you’ll be mine
And you should come and say hello, boy

And when you see me there waiting
You’ll wonder where you had been
All say just right here sweetheart
And I’ll be hear to the end

The silence breaks
You’re always on my mind
When I feel you gentle smile
I see you with another guy
I fell so unloved
Without you next to me
When I’m with you
It feels like electricity

I saw you there
I winked at you
You seemed to care
It’s happening
I’m leading her to become just like me
I know were different in some ways
We can change that now and run away
I see you every day
I know, you’re good for me
I love you so

And when you see me there waiting
You’ll wonder where you had been
I’ll say it ok darling
Now let’s just runaway girlfriend

The silence breaks
You’re always on my mind
When I feel you gentle smile
I see you with another guy
I fell so unloved
Without you next to me
When I’m with you
It feels like electricity

The silence breaks
You’re always on my mind
When I feel you gentle smile
I see you with another guy
I fell so unloved
Without you next to me
When I’m with you
It feels like

It’s going to be like this someday
You and me, we’re going to run away
It’s going to be like this someday
You and me, we’re going to run away
It’s going to be that way
We’re going to run away
It’s going to be that way
Someday

I typed out these lyrics as I was listening to the songs, and if you’ve ever listened to the Rocket Summer you know there are times you can’t quite make out exactly what Bryce is saying, so some lines are just my best guess. But the majority of the lyrics are right. If you think he sings something other then what I typed, let me know and I’ll listen to the song again and if I think your right I’ll change it (if I can).

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
