This version is so much more funky and fun than the version on Era Vulgaris, which just made it boring. PJ Harvey is also a total babe from the West Country so you know... works for me. :)

I think this song is SO great. The intro is wicked, and his voice is quite sexy! In all fairness, Desert Sessions do not have the most polished songs, but I think this sounds cool! It's basically about a guy who wants to get with a girl, or it could be that he's already with her, and it ain't really workin', but he wants it to. It could probably also be about sex too, i dunno! Desert Sessions are cool.
This makes me think of some dude stoned off his ass and then he sees a chick that he realy likes so he goes over and starts talking to her and ends up babbeling bull shit or hours about himself but he thinks hes doing good.
This sounds like it's about a "relationship" between two people that is just dragging it's heels and taking forever to get itself off of the ground. He obviously knows what he wants (to make it wit chu [me??]). TOTALLY sexy song, by the way.
