this is my favorite rocket summer song, i don't know why no one has commented yet. i think this song is about a guy who likes a girl who has a lot of low self esteem who wants to go and get all these plastic surgerys and such to look like people in movies and on tv. and he just thinks is silly because everyone wants to look like all the movie stars and have their lives that seem so perfect.
This is one of my most favourite songs of the Rocket summer's. But a very good song by them is Never know ohh and also My typical angel...any rocket summer fan would like these songs!:D

that part of the lyrics is a story about a girl who tried to be perfect, but tried to hard and got so skinny and unhealthy. she would pretend that she was famous, but happy endings are make believe so she never got what she wanted
imo its about everyone wanting to be like the hollywood image, the cookie cutter image society has set as beautiful, and how he knows their is no such thing as hollywood perfection and how he prefers his life cause its more real and has more adventure than the movies cause everything doesnt always end happily ever after
I agree with votre mere, I definitely hear "If only the shows were as real as the CLOTHES" and "They SHOT it and we bought it" I lovelovelove this song. Sounds like what a lot of girls go through, with trying to look like someone they idolize. and ending up really unhealthy. Sad, but true.
i love this song with a passion. this song is SO sincere. i know before i've wanted to be like what i saw on tv, but then i realized.. i'm just me. and my favorite part is "cause in her head she's always been the ugly one; well hey, we think we're ugly too." I LOVE IT, wow. sometimes it's a little pathetic how peoples' self esteem goes down the drain because of the retarded celebrities who set the bar. celebrities are just as screwed up as any other person. what makes them so special?
