bloodbath is pretty much a supergroup. they got guys from opeth, katatonia, and edge of sanity. they got together and decided to make a kind of melodic gore metal. the music is great. my only problem is that the lyrics are retarded. no offense to any retarded people reading this. most gore metal lyrics are just fuckin hilarious though. anyway, the music is hella good and youll laugh your ass off, so i highly recommend these guys

With Bloodbath it always feels like they're quoting other bands or trying to imitate others lyrics and simply spicing them up with more intelligent renditions and with a bit more eloquence. It dosent feel totally natural in my opinion.
Anyway, Mike totally dominates all other death grunters I've ever heard, AND he can sing like an angel when he wants to. Amazing...

Yeah if you think the lyrics are dumb then you don't understand what they're trying to do with the whole scene. It's about intensity man not poetry. Not with bloodbath atleast.
